About Bino and Fino
Bino & Fino began with a simple idea: children everywhere deserve stories that celebrate the richness, diversity and wonder of Africa.
Created in Nigeria by animator Adamu Waziri, Bino & Fino was born from a desire to create fun, educational content that reflected African people, cultures and experiences. At the time, there were very few African-made cartoons for children and almost none that explored the continent's history, achievements and traditions in an engaging way.
What began as Adamu's vision soon became a family endeavour and a shared mission. Inspired by the potential of the project, his brother joined the team, and together they brought together a small group of passionate writers, animators, actors and creatives—many of whom had never worked on an animated television series before. United by a belief that African children deserved stories that reflected the richness of their own continent, they set out to create something they wished had existed when they were growing up: a Nigerian animated series celebrating Africa's cultures, history, achievements and spirit of adventure.
Today, Bino & Fino has grown into an independent, family-owned children's brand enjoyed by families around the world. Through our animated series, books, toys, clothing and learning resources, we help children discover Africa through stories, play and adventure.
